I wonder if searching for any kind of hip hop school or team or classes has brought any success. Going to live in Daejeon and can’t imagine my life there without choreography. Please, if somebody can help with adresses or any helpful info, be nice to answer. Thx!

Hey I have been in daejeon for one week and I am looking for a place to play pick up basketball and/or tennis on saturday and sunday. Still dont really know my way around at all but I am trying to figure stuff out. If you know of anything feel free to send me an email mjet1987@gmail.com.

Thanks for the reply Kim.. I see something for the soccer (Daejeon FC) so I’ll contact them.

As for field hockey, boxing and squash I don’t see anything (unless I’m looking in the wrong area).

As far as boxing goes, I’d be happy to just be able to join a gym that has a punching bag in it (but having a punching bag in a regular gym might be more of a uk thing).

Thanks once again for replying and any other info you may have – like I said, I’ll play sport with anyone; korean, expat, whatever..

Hi all, I’m from the UK and used to participate in sport all the time, including soccer, field hockey, boxing and squash.

If anyone could point me of the direction of where I may be able to continue any of these sports in Daejeon I would be extremely grateful (I really miss playing)

Any information, like places to try (such as specific universities, places) names of people to contact.. anything ..would be much appreciated

It makes no difference to me whether I play with Ex-pats or Koreans.. I don’t speak any Korean… yet, but don’t let that put anyone off from recommending Korean clubs as I have someone who can help me translate.

I can play Monday to Friday in the mornings before work (must be finished by 7:30am) in the evenings (7:30 onwards) and all day saturday / sunday.

I am living just off Wolpyeong subway.

Let me know – as you can probably tell, I’m quite desperate to play..
