Culture shock is a necessary experience. It helps you understand the differences and the similarities between disparate groups of people. It helps you appreciate the immigrants who come to your own country (Canada, the US, Eng, Aus, NZ, etc). Commit to building real relationships with the people around you. Dwell on your similarities. We all need to be loved, to have security of person, to have meaningful work. Say yes.
