There's the Toastmasters group, which, while she may not be interested in practicing public speaking, they may be able to direct her other places. The other group might be the KAIST adventure club. Things are extremely underground at the moment. If you can speak any Korean, you should try to find the group "Between Friends" (친구사이) online. They're largely out of Seoul, but what isn't?
