My husband and me are
expats living in Korea. We found an abandoned puppy when we arrived last year
and had been taking care of him since. As my husband's contract is finishing,
we will be leaving Korea very soon and is desperately looking  for someone to adopt or to foster
Chippie until he has found a permanent home to go to as we do not want to send
him to a dog shelter.

Fostering or temporarily caring for a homeless pet is a wonderful way to help Korean animals. It is ideal for expats who cannot adopt animals here but miss their cats/dogs back home. The animal welfare situation in Korea is very poor as cats and some dogs are viewed as vermin or food. This is slowly changing but foster care is essential as there are very few shelters in the country.
