We have been here only a week, and thanks to everyones’ help (in person and on this website) we are getting around famously. After an introduction to the spa by Kim and Tae I am going about every other day. Boy was it crowded on Saturday!!
The mom and pop restaurants have wonderful bulgogi and samgtyetang with all the trimmings for the cost of a meal at McDonalds. The subway gets me around easily and I love the markets and the infomercials for kimchi refrigerators. Crunch Crunch.
The Art Museum was a doable size with intriguing works, mostly involving electronics. The markets are where its really at; both for food and folks.
The temples at the National Park are a world away from our reason for being here (business) and so a welcome relief. Not to mention good hiking to get to some of them.
My Korean vocabulary is infinitesimal but I am getting the hang of the pronunciation.
So, thanks again for the time and effort put into this website. It made me feel at ease and at home as soon as we got here. Keep up the good work, don’t let the viruses and worms get you!

You’re welcome! It was great having someone else to introduce to the bathhouse! They are one of the truly wonderful cultural experiences which are widely available and cheaper than they should be.
Hope to connect before you head out.
