I’d like to introduce three beautiful places in Daejeon to help refresh your spirits when you’re stressed and your body when you need some clean air.
The summit of Sik Jang mountain
Sik Jang mountain is located in Panamdong in Donggu. The summit is high enough for us we to see a wide view of the city. To climb the top of the mountain, the road is a little bit winding but is not bad by car. It takes about 10 minutes from the mountain entrance. Many couples and families enjoy the beautiful scene at night.
The night scene of Bomun Mountain
Bomun mountain is in Busadong in Junggu. Around the mountain is Hanbat Sports Complex; the baseball stadium, volleyball & basketball stadium are located there. The observatory is not high, so it is easy to approach. It’s especially interesting if you visit while the Hanhwa Eagles are playing, you can see fantastic scenery too!
Daechung Dam
Daechung dam is a very beneficial place to for Daejeon citizens. Not only is the night view spectacular but it is also a great place for families to relax and play during the day. There is also a park, water exhibition hall, a playing fountain, and color-changing street lamp.
You can also meditate on the beautiful Daecheong Lake from a park bench!

Beautiful pictures, especially Daechung Dam. I like the ambience of the purple lights in the water.
